Buying at Ambassadori Island: FAQ
Can a foreigner buy an apartment in Georgia?
Yes. Foreigners buy flats and apartments in Georgia on the same terms as citizens. Restrictions apply to agricultural land, not to homes.
Can I buy remotely?
Yes. The agreement is signed under a notarised power of attorney, with payment by bank transfer. A manager will send a video and guide you through the deal.
How does the installment plan work?
20% down, then monthly payments over 2 years (for example $4,022 a month for an apartment at $120,670).
When is completion?
The first tower: Q1 2029.
What finish are the apartments delivered in?
With a turnkey finish, without upholstered furniture (sofas and armchairs). We will send the exact contents for your chosen apartment with its floor plan.
What unit types are in the tower?
Studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments. We will send available units and floor plans on request.
What taxes apply when buying?
Georgia has no separate tax on buying a home. You pay the Public Registry fee. Rental taxes depend on your situation, and we can suggest an adviser.
Does buying give residency?
Buying property above a certain value lets you apply for a Georgian residence permit. We will tell you whether your chosen apartment qualifies.
How is the name spelled?
Ambassadori Island, with a double s. It is also written as Ambassadori Island Batumi or Island Ambassadori. The island lies off the coast of Batumi, Georgia.
